Types of Verbal Intelligence Tests

Analogy Tests
It is the TEST to find similarities or dissimilarities in the given groups of words.

Classification Tests
This test includes Alphabets, Words and Jumbled letters. Similarity/difference based; jumbled letters to form meaningful words etc. are included.

Coding-decoding Tests
It is the TEST alphabets are given some value; based on those values students are required to find meaning of the words.

Word Formation Tests
In this test new words are formed by adding/deleting suffix/prefix OR adding deleting alphabets/words to make meaningful words.

Jumbled Spellings Test
It is the TEST in which common English words are misspelled, students are required to find the meaningful words hidden therein.

Sequence Test
This test is based on days, dates & alphabets – where students are asked to calculate the specific day, date or alphabets etc. from given data.

Common Sense Test
These are every day science/logic questions. Where the common problems are presented to find the correct answer from given options.

Ranking Comparison Test
These are tests based on numbers/ratio etc. relating to age, marks, scores etc. Students are required to pick the correct choice.

It is the TEST candidates’ intelligence is tested by confusing him/her with different relationship riddles; and asking for correct choice of relationship.

These tests are based on determination of age of the person mentioned in the question; under given conditions.
