She asks for one-tenth of the treasure as her prediction fee, further intensifying the mystical aspect of Santiago’s journey towards his ‘Personal Legend.’ Chapter 3: Santiago meets Melchizedek, the King of Salem, who educates him about Personal Legends and the world’s biggest lie-recalling how people believe they can’t control their destiny. The king enlightens Santiago about the omens and encourages his endeavor to the Pyramids. Chapter 4: Selling his sheep, Santiago starts his journey.
