Step-3
Your Idea won’t Just leave you

The world we live in isn’t just home to humans, plants, and animals. Ideas are alive too! They’re like living things waiting for someone to notice them.

You know that feeling when a thought sticks with you and won’t leave? If it keeps popping up everywhere and won’t leave you alone, that’s a great idea! Don’t let daily chores or TV distract you. It’s your job to accept it and make it happen.

If you don’t, the idea will move on until it finds someone else to make it real. Ideas are kind of mysterious that way. The author experienced this with a friend.

The author wanted to write a novel about the Amazon jungle but couldn’t. Later, she met a friend, Ann Patchett, who was already writing a very similar novel. Both authors were amazed. They believe the idea just moved on until it found someone ready to bring it to life.
